K-ON! Character Charts

I started watching a new anime and have got hooked on it. The show is called K-ON! and the basic story behind the show is about a bunch of high school girls who form a light music club. It's really cool. Anyway I searched the net to see if there was any cross stitch charts of the characters and I found there wasn't any, I made my own up. Here are two of the patterns I made.

This is Tsumugi Kotobuki. She's the Keyboardist and is the daughter of a business man. She's very sweet and has been pampered all her life due to her wealthy background. She loves to make cakes and tea for the rest of the light music club. She is also known as 'Princess Mugi' by people at the music shop due to her father being an owner of it.

This is Yui Hirasawa. She's one of the guitarist's for the light music club and is very funny. She is very forgetful of guitar chords and is like a little child. She has a younger sister who is like an older sister to Yui because she takes care of her while her parents are traveling. Yui is so sweet and funny. She gets on well with Ritsu and she loves to play alot. She hates the cold and also hate's when it's hot.

Anyway that's it for the moment until I stitch the other members of the club up. So I hope you like them.

My Short Story for Sherlockology Book

I just finished my Short story for the Sherlockology book that I posted details about. I've sent it to Sherlockology and here is a link for anyone who is intrested in reading the story. http://www.mediafire.com/view/?nlhd2fm34kflpa6

I'm not really bothered if my story doesn't get picked to go in the book, because I'll always buy the book when it comes out to support Undershaw Preservation Trust.

Sherlockology book for Undershaw Preservation Trust

SHERLOCKOLOGY AND MX PUBLISHING HAVE TEAMED UP IN SUPPORT OF THE UNDERSHAW PRESERVATION TRUST, TO OFFER FANS AN OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE THEIR VERY OWN SHERLOCK HOLMES SHORT STORY PUBLISHED IN A BOOK!

WHAT IS THE BOOK?
The upcoming book, 'Sherlock's Home: The Empty House' is to be a collection of short stories and poems centered around the Sherlock Holmes canon characters and for the benefit of the Undershaw Preservation Trust.
The aim is to give aspiring writers with an interest in Sherlock Holmes and Arthur Conan Doyle, the opportunity to see their writing in print, while primarily raising awareness for Undershaw.

WHAT IS IT FOR?
Undershaw is the former home of Sir Arthur Conan Dolye, creator of Sherlock Holmes, located in Hindhead, Surrey, UK.
'The Undershaw Preservation Trust' is an organization that is working toward saving Undershaw from development and conversion into three separate properties. Instead they are fighting to preserve this historic house as a whole, as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle originally intended, for the benefit of future generations.

HOW DO I SUBMIT AN ENTRY?
If you would like to contribute to the book, all you need to do is write a short story or poem based on Sherlock Holmes and/or Undershaw - whether it be in the Victorian era, a decade in the 20th century, modern day or even in the future?

You can change the characters genders, ages or nationality. You are limited only by your imaginations; tell a story of them as children, or maybe solving crimes in the swinging sixties, what if the premise was set in space? Would a futuristic Sherlock Holmes and John Watson battle criminal aliens, maybe outlawed cowboys in the Wild West from the late 19th century, or even pirates? As Sir Arthur Conan Doyle said, "You may marry him or murder him or do what you like with him", so the choice really is yours!
Be creative, be original, but most of all have fun and help support the preservation of this historical building.

The final selection will be made up of up to 20 stories and poems with the authors credited in print. [Please note: All royalties from the sale of this book will be donated to the Undershaw Preservation Trust and so unfortunately contributors will not be paid a royalty fee.]

Please email your entries to info@sherlockology.com with the subject line Sherlock's Home. Other information to include: your name as you would wish it to appear in print, location (city and country i.e. London, UK), and your contact details.
Word Count: The story or poem must be no more than 3,000 words.

Entries: Anyone can apply, but entries must be submitted by Midnight Tuesday 1st May, 2012. Unfortunately submissions after this date won't be eligible for inclusion due to the publication date. The final collection of stories and poems will be chosen by a representative of Sherlockology, MX Publishing and The Undershaw Preservation Trust.

Stories which are submitted that do not make it in to the final published book will be compiled into a PDF which will be made available as a FREE download from the Sherlockology website.
Content: We do ask that you keep in mind we would like this book to have the largest possible readership in support of Save Undershaw, therefore stories can not be consider that contain material inappropriate for minors.

Important Legal Bit: There is only one Undershaw, so we ask you to create a piece of writing that is just as unique!
While the Sherlock Holmes canon characters are out of copyright, which means they no longer legally belong to anyone, characters not found in the canon but in recent adaptations such as Molly Hooper from BBC 'Sherlock' television series or Lord Blackwood from Guy Richie's 'Sherlock Holmes' movie for example, do belong to the creators of the productions. Unfortunately therefore we can only include original canon characters i.e. Sherlock Holmes, Dr. John Watson, Mrs. Hudson, Lestrade, James Moriarty, Mycroft Holmes, Irene Adler, etc., although they are not bound by their original premise, gender or era.
All material supplied will be subject to editing to ensure no copyright infringement occurs, but please also keep in mind that all content must be your own, therefore direct quotation may not be made to the script of any television or film adaptations.

WHEN WILL THE BOOK BE PUBLISHED?
The book will be published on the day of the High Court Judicial Review for Undershaw when it's fate will be decided on Tuesday 23rd May, 2012

The History of Lizzie Williams

Sometime last year I started to watch Sherlock the new BBC series and like everyone who gets into a series so bad, I became another follower of the show. I had been a member of the social network site FaceBook for under a year when I one day decided to change my profile name, photo and profile creating a role playing character for Sherlock. Lizzie Riley was born and for a while I became distant from my every day real life friends. I got envolved in descussions with my new online role playing friends which included Mycroft and Sherlock Holmes, also John Watson and other characters connected to Characters from the series. I was having fun. But then one day I killed Lizzie Riley the singleton and created a fiance for her. So by then I had two accounts one for Lizzie Riley and the other for a character called Peter Holmes which in fact was Sherlock as an alias due to how many Sherlock Holmes there was role playing. I got so tired of playing as both characters and after they got married I decided to call it a day and shut down both accounts.
A few months later I started a new account, this time as my proper self. I added all my real life friends and also added some groups that I liked especially Sherlockology to keep an eye out for any news for the new series. At that time had started to write fanfic for the show with my character Lizzie Riley. The first which I called "Sleeping Children" a tale of chance encountered first meetings and a disturbing case that brings Sherlock Holmes and Lizzie Riley together as a team. I loved to write the story but then because of other commitements, I had become envolved with at the time, I had to put it away. When I started to write again on the story of the "Sleeping Children" it was by New Years day that I had been enthusiastic to write more due to watching S2 EP1 of Sherlock. While I wrote more and read things on the Sherlockology fan page on FaceBook, I found out that Sherlock was going to bid his farewell in the last episode of the new series.
By then I had already wrote four chapters of "Sleeping Children", but with the news I tore up all the writing I had done and thrown it out. I went back to reading and funny as it may seem I found courage to write a new story something with a narrative side to it. It was called "The Silent House" but unlike the one I had been writing, this one was describing alot of things that were happening around the characters. After one chapter I gave up on that also. The tale was basically about Lizzie Riley being hired by Mycroft Holmes to be a sort of baby sitter whilst Sherlock slept in a coma after a fall from Saint Barthomews House building. But the story had made no sense at all. Then when I watched Ep 3 of S2 I discovered that there was a character with the last name of Riley also. I was disappointed by this and so I decided to kill the name of Riley and renamed my character Lizzie Williams. At the time I wasn't writing anything because I didn't know what to write. In so many words I had a writters block. By the end of watching Ep 3 of S 2 of Sherlock, I had started to write again. This time I invisioned Lizzie to be the one to find Sherlock alive. And this concludes the story of Lizzie once Riley now Williams.
