Sometime last year I started to watch Sherlock the new BBC series and like everyone who gets into a series so bad, I became another follower of the show. I had been a member of the social network site FaceBook for under a year when I one day decided to change my profile name, photo and profile creating a role playing character for Sherlock. Lizzie Riley was born and for a while I became distant from my every day real life friends. I got envolved in descussions with my new online role playing friends which included Mycroft and Sherlock Holmes, also John Watson and other characters connected to Characters from the series. I was having fun. But then one day I killed Lizzie Riley the singleton and created a fiance for her. So by then I had two accounts one for Lizzie Riley and the other for a character called Peter Holmes which in fact was Sherlock as an alias due to how many Sherlock Holmes there was role playing. I got so tired of playing as both characters and after they got married I decided to call it a day and shut down both accounts.
A few months later I started a new account, this time as my proper self. I added all my real life friends and also added some groups that I liked especially Sherlockology to keep an eye out for any news for the new series. At that time had started to write fanfic for the show with my character Lizzie Riley. The first which I called "Sleeping Children" a tale of chance encountered first meetings and a disturbing case that brings Sherlock Holmes and Lizzie Riley together as a team. I loved to write the story but then because of other commitements, I had become envolved with at the time, I had to put it away. When I started to write again on the story of the "Sleeping Children" it was by New Years day that I had been enthusiastic to write more due to watching S2 EP1 of Sherlock. While I wrote more and read things on the Sherlockology fan page on FaceBook, I found out that Sherlock was going to bid his farewell in the last episode of the new series.
By then I had already wrote four chapters of "Sleeping Children", but with the news I tore up all the writing I had done and thrown it out. I went back to reading and funny as it may seem I found courage to write a new story something with a narrative side to it. It was called "The Silent House" but unlike the one I had been writing, this one was describing alot of things that were happening around the characters. After one chapter I gave up on that also. The tale was basically about Lizzie Riley being hired by Mycroft Holmes to be a sort of baby sitter whilst Sherlock slept in a coma after a fall from Saint Barthomews House building. But the story had made no sense at all. Then when I watched Ep 3 of S2 I discovered that there was a character with the last name of Riley also. I was disappointed by this and so I decided to kill the name of Riley and renamed my character Lizzie Williams. At the time I wasn't writing anything because I didn't know what to write. In so many words I had a writters block. By the end of watching Ep 3 of S 2 of Sherlock, I had started to write again. This time I invisioned Lizzie to be the one to find Sherlock alive. And this concludes the story of Lizzie once Riley now Williams.
